The unit itself is very good looking but there are two issues that bug me. First the top door not fitting quite right so it doesn’t close smoothly and has a large gap between it and the top of the unit. And second, there are some lumps and inconsistencies under the paint, both of these are not major issues, however, at this price point I was expecting better quality.

I love my two new lock-ups! They look very beautiful and were easy enough to assemble. Being in a very old building with sagging wooden floors, the height adjustable feet are just great. My lever arch files fits perfectly, and it is wonderful that the shelf height can be adjusted.
The lock mechanism itself is not fantastic and I must admit that I am a bit disappointed. If someone wants to open it, it will be very simple to just bend the top part of the door open as nothing is holding that part. This means the cabinet is not a very big challenge for a burglar, and only really adequate to store sensitive documents away from employees.
One of the door magnets fell out, but was easy enough to fix.
The packaging is a lot, doesn’t feel very comfortable to throw that away! I would like to get it back to you. There are also two shelves I will not use I would like to return. It would be great to have a packaging return programme.
